FAQs

Every move is custom.  Here are some factors that affect move time:

  • Is everything packed and boxed up? This is the best way to shorten the length (and cost) of your move.
  • Does anything require disassembly and/or assembling at your new location? Bed frames and large pieces that have to be taken down before they can be moved will add time to your move.
  • How close can the moving truck be parked? The further the crew has to walk to load the vehicle, the more time it will take.

Our crew will work to get your move completed as quickly as possible, while taking the best care of your possessions.

For local moves, our crews typically complete two per day. If you know you’ll need some extra time the day of your move to pack up the last of your belongings, we can schedule you as the second move of the day. Your crew will notify you when they are finished with their first move and ready to come to your location.

Yes, we do. A long distance move will be similar to a local move, but with a fee based upon distance. The crew will meet you or your designated representative at your new location and unload. If the distance is great enough that an overnight stay is required, the crew will handle their own arrangements. Your items will remain in our locked truck.

First, be assured that car accidents during a move are not a common occurrence. But, if something were to happen, you would not be charged for any lost time due to the accident. We’ll also ensure that any items that may have been damaged are repaired or replaced.

Except in the case of extreme weather that would threaten the safety of our crew (ie tornado, ice, flooding), we will complete your move regardless of the weather.

It depends on the size of your move. When you schedule your move, we’ll determine what size vehicle will be needed to fit all of your belongings, and assign a crew based on that size. Our goal is to move you as quickly and efficiently as possible.

No. Packing should be completed prior to the moving crew’s arrival, and the more prepared you are, the faster your move will go! We offer professional packing services if you need help getting ready before your move.

Yes, your crew can disassemble furniture and reassemble it at your new location, with some restrictions. We do not reassemble pool tables, baby furniture, play sets, or trampolines.

Your crew will be equipped with moving blankets and stretch wrap to protect items during your move. We will handle delicate items with utmost care, but for maximum protection, boxing or crating is recommended.

Absolutely. You can request details of our insurance company or policy when booking your move.

Unfortunately, damage can occur during a move. We document the condition of items prior to your move and use utmost care while moving them. If damage occurs, take pictures and notify us right away. If we’ve damaged something, we want to make it right.
